Shelby von Salvisberg is a beautiful 9 month old German Shepherd. She has a message for us:  "Hey there, don't feel sorry for me.  Westside did everything possible to save my eye, but even a specialist said that the only solution was to remove it. Now I am in the company of some pretty famous people who had the use of only one eye, like Sammy Davis, Jr. and  Peter Falk and Rex Harrison...even John Wayne in True Grit (oops, I guess he was just acting).  We shepherds rally quickly and already I am back to being  my usual good-natured, loving, active self.  I'm housebroken and love to play with other dogs, and I would be a super exercise companion. We could have endless fun together; you might even want to re-name me Wink or buy me a doggie eye patch. I am so eager to meet you and confident that you will fall in love with me.
